From Cluj to London: What We Brought Home from Tech Week

How it felt to be at London Tech Week, from our team’s perspective.

We were there, on the ground, meeting people, sharing what we do at 7code, and soaking in the energy. Here’s what stuck with us after three intense days in London.

London Tech Week 2025 felt like stepping into the middle of the future, but in the best way possible. I was there with Alessandro, our CTO, representing 7code at the Romania IT Pavilion. And honestly, the energy was something else.

From the moment we set up our stand, it was clear this wasn’t just another tech event. It was alive with people solving real-world problems, discussing what's next in AI, product development, automation, and scaling tech teams across borders.

What I liked most?
The conversations. Not just with founders and CTOs, although we had plenty of those, but with people genuinely looking for partners, not just vendors. We had some great talks with companies from the UK and beyond, and a few of those are already turning into concrete discussions about new projects. That’s always the best validation: when the energy from the event turns into something real.

Also, I couldn’t help but notice how well the Romanian tech ecosystem is viewed. There’s respect, curiosity, and genuine interest. It felt good to be there, not just as observers, but as builders with something to offer.

Coming back to Cluj, I feel like we brought a bit of that London energy with us. We’re still reflecting on all the ideas, tech trends, and future opportunities, but one thing’s clear: showing up in person still matters. And being part of this kind of momentum gives you perspective you just can’t get from behind a screen.
